Two separate semi-truck accidents shut down I-15 early Sunday morning in Box Elder County. Utah Highway Patrol is dealing with a lot of crashes as a storm sweeps across the state Sunday. Most of them are all minor but two semi crashes in Box Elder County created a mess for troopers and emergency clean up crews. The first crash happened at 5:30 a.m. at milepost 357 on southbound I-15. That semi jack-knifed and rolled, blocking the entire freeway. A small passenger car traveling at the same time was unable to stop and struck the cab of the semi. Shortly after, the second semi went off the right shoulder at mile post 356 and overturned in a ditch. I-15 was closed for two hours at exit 357 with traffic being re-routed off at 357 to Sr-89, and then back to I-15. The freeway was then reopened at approximately 7:30 am.
