At least one person was taken to a hospital after a truck crashed into the median on Interstate 95 northbound in Lantana, according to Lt. Alvaro Feola of the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash was between a pickup and a semi, Feola said. It is unclear if there were passengers in either vehicle or who was sent to the hospital. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash. Feola said it is too early to know if either driver will face charges. 9:15 a.m. UPDATE: Southbound lanes have reopened on Interstate 95 in Lantana, FHP said on its website. There is still traffic congestion southbound stretching back to West Palm Beach. The left lane is still blocked on I-95 northbound in Lantana and delays remain backed to Gateway Boulevard. Original story: A truck crash caused delays Tuesday morning on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 in Lantana, the Florida Highway Patrol said. As of 8:30 a.m., all southbound lanes were closed at the Lantana exit after concrete from the crash spilled onto the southbound lanes. Two left lanes are also blocked northbound, causing delays all the way to Gateway Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The wreck happened at about 6 a.m. just south of the Lantana Road exit on I-95 northbound, FHP said on its website. The side of the truck bore the logo of Yuengling, a beer company. Also, a crash on northbound I-95 near Gateway Boulevard is causing further delays for morning commuters. FHP reported that the center lane of the highway is blocked.
