Authorities say one person is dead following a chain-reaction crash involving multiple semi-trucks along Interstate 10 near Tonopah. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened when a semi-truck rolled on eastbound I-10 west of Tonopah at milepost 79. After the rollover, a second semi-truck following behind came to a stop, but a third semi-truck struck the second semi, killing the driver of the third semi-truck.

We’ve learned there are two separate collisions in this area involving three semis. There is one fatality and one injury as a result. Traffic exiting at MP45. Traffic stuck at the collision is being turned around in the median.
