The Missouri Highway Patrol says that twenty-five vehicles were involved in a pileup crash on I-55 in Arnold this afternoon.
There were two separate sets of crashes in the southbound lanes of I-55, according to KPLR11.

One of the chain reaction crashes involved 15 vehicles. The other crash involved 10 vehicles. At least one tractor trailer was involved in the pileup.
I-55 southbound was shut down at Exit 190. According to some reports, one lane of traffic is getting through. Heavy traffic backups have been reported. So far, only two minor injuries have been reported. The cause of the pileup is still under investigation.
