Highlighting the additional driving hazards involved in the winter season, the Utah Department of Transportation has released a dramatic video showing a snowplow getting hit by a passing truck. The post further stated, “The semi truck driver did stop and cooperated with police. He was cited for improper passing and leaving his lane. The county attorney will screen the case for criminal charges.”While Jacobson suffered multiple injuries, fortunately, he is expected to recover. In light of the accident, the department noted, “The incident serves as a reminder of the need to give plows plenty of room so they can clear the roads safely. When driving near plows, give them at least 200 feet of space, never try and pass them, and don’t cut in front of them.”
