A two-vehicle crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Route 222 in West Earl Township has been cleared. The crash, which caused a lane closure for nearly three hours, occurred shortly after 8 a.m. at Route 222 South and Peach Road, according to Lancaster County dispatchers. West Earl Township police said the male driver of the tractor-trailer — Kyree Saunders, 21, of Philadelphia — struck a disabled, unoccupied vehicle on the right side of the road, causing his tractor-trailer to overturn and skid into an adjacent patch of grass. Saunders was treated at Lancaster General Hospital for minor injuries, police said. Police did not disclose the name of the unoccupied car’s owner. No charges have been filed related to the crash.
