Authorities say that nineteen commercial and passenger vehicles were involved in a pileup crash.
Thirty-five people were hurt in the crash with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The San Bernardino County Fire Department says that weather was a factor in the crash. Caltrans issued a fog advisory for the area just an hour before the crash occurred. All lanes of southbound I-15 were closed for hours with miles long traffic backups reported in the area. However, Caltrans announced at 2 p.m. that all lanes of southbound I-15 had reopened.
