Authorities say no one was seriously hurt after a three-vehicle crash resulted in a semi truck lodged into the side of a business in northern Sioux Falls. The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Cliff Avenue and North 54th Street.

According to Officer Thomas Ward of the Sioux Falls Police Department, the semi truck was headed east on 54th Street when it failed to stop for a red light on Cliff Avenue. The semi then struck a northbound sedan, then hit an oncoming pickup.

The tractor trailer then crashed into the side of a building before coming to a stop. Ward said the driver of the semi was taken to a hospital for observation, but his injuries are not believed to be serious. No one else was seriously injured in the accident. Police are still investigating the crash.
