An overturned tractor trailer spilled a hazardous load on Interstate 75 in Campbell County, causing multiple lane closures. The trailer left the road while traveling on I-75 near mile marker 134 in Caryville. Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction as crews prepare to remove the spilled material. TDOT spokesperson Mark Nagi did not give an estimate as to when the spill would be cleaned, and said that the material, which he called an inhalation hazard, would be removed once a safe method for removing it was verified.
